Growing up he was surrounded by educators and the sound of music. His father not only has been a Chicano studies professor at the California State University of Northridge, but he also founded a musical group called Conjunto Hueyapan that would later inspire his son.

‘Extraordinary Tales in Music’ tells the story of Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘The Raven’

The music concert “Extraordinary Tales in Music” featuring original music by composer William E. Doyle was presented on May 17, at El Camino College’s Marsee Auditorium.

The story follows the life of a young Edgar Allan Poe through a musical journey after he leaves the University of Virginia due to a lifestyle of drinking and gambling. And on his journey he ends up in Ireland where he meets his love.
